It’s more Breeders’ Cup party than Halloween party, but it is October 31, so we’re throwing them together and seeing what happens.
Our very own Handsome Handicapper, Dave Krone, will be running an in-house betting window for the day. For $20, pick a horse in each race and rack up points based on where they finish. When the dust settles, the top point-getters split the pot.
RSVPs will receive their official “program” in advance, with all picks due by noon on race day.
Beyond the ponies, expect a full day of Halloweeny hangs around the club. Bring your own snacks and treats. Come in costume, or a raceday fit, or find some questionable middle ground between the two.
We’ll provide the races, the revelry, and a cauldron of fall cocktails.
